Les Voyages au théâtre by Jules Verne and Adolphe
d’Ennery. Paris, J. Hetzel, 1881. 378 p., 68 illustrations by Benett,
Henry Meyer, Riou and Férat.
Three plays are published in this volume: “Le Tour du monde en
quatre-vingts jours,” “Les Enfants du capitaine Grant” and “Michel
Strogoff.”
-
Manuscrits nantais, volumes 1 and 2. Nantes, 1991.
The three volumes (only 30 copies) of the Manuscrits nantais
were published by the Municipality of Nantes more than ten years
after having bought Jules Verne’s manuscripts from the Verne family
in 1978 (around eight millions French Francs). The objective of the
publication was to strengthen the copyright of the Ville de Nantes
onto these manuscripts (most of them never published before). This
publication was a quick transcription from the manuscripts into a
computerized text processing system, without considering Verne’s own
corrections and modifications and therefore is not accurate nor
reliable.
The following plays are published in volume 1:
- Don Galaor
- Le Coq de bruyère
